Simple Centerpiece for the Holidays

There always seems to be so much to do for the holidays, especially if you are lucky enough to play host to an array of family and friends. This simple 3 step DIY belt-wrapped vase centerpiece is sure to be a hit.

Step#1: Pick your poison... or flower! Some flowers that are seasonally appropriate for fall include dahlia, calla lily, chrysanthemum, and yarrow. The autumnal reds, oranges, and yellows will be a nice addition to your table setting.

Step#2: Choose a vase. Any vase or rectangular shaped container will do. Remember, this will be hidden by the belts.

Step#3: Wrap the vase in belts. be sure to use at least 3 belts. They can be overlapped to add depth and originality.

It's ok if the belts don't match...your finished product will be one of a kind!
