Blinker Hoods for Horses

by Jordan Manfredi
This is a hood placed over the horses head that has different type of cups attached to restrict the vision of a horse. There are a number of types typically called, Full cup hoods, half cup hoods or can't see back hoods. Blinker hoods are used on race horses to help the horse concentrate to the front instead of being distracted by a horse approaching from either side. Full Cup Hoods are used to completely block the horses vision. Sometimes used to protect the horses eye after an injury. Half Cup and Can't See Back blinker hoods allow the horse to only see forward.
